in 320 hectares (790 acres about) of olive trees, An architectural jewels set in a wild and untouched nature where history and modernity live as one. You can find a suggestive and charming swimming pool, completely absorbed in the green colour of the olive trees.

Tenuta Monacelli welcomes 26 rooms divided between the two historic Masseria Monacelli and Masseria Giampaolo, where elegance and charme have been combined by using the authentic materials, such as local stone, each with different features, giving a very emotional impact and architecture. The “Rifugio del Re”, with its characteristic star vaults and fireplace, is the restaurant at Tenuta Monacelli. On warm spring evenings and during the summer, guests can sit on a large terrace overlooking the beautiful olive groves of the Estate. The “Rifugio del Re” restaurant faces onto the inner courtyard of Masseria Monacelli, providing an atmosphere of conviviality. The restaurant specialises in Mediterranean cooking, with an emphasis on traditional specialities from Salento and the region. Our chefs use only wholesome ingredients, many including the olive oil produced on site, to create dishes that combine healthiness, the Mediterranean diet and the pleasures of eating well.
