DESCRIPTION
Visiting wine cellars in Puglia means to discover the hospitality and beauty of our territory. Surrounded by the beauties of the Itria Valley hectares of vineyards and green hills, the cellar you are going to visit is a family-run business since 1882. A facility built in unique local stones. This cellar is a reference point for wine lovers and those who are passionate about beautiful landscapes of the Valle d’Itria.
The tour starts from the vineyard annexed to the Casa Vinicola and continues with a visit to the historic cellar, explaining all the stages of wine making, starting from harvesting grapes from the vines to wine storage in the barrels.
The ancient cellar, an underground one, which has always been a great attraction for visitors. Completely buried, in order to benefit from an optimal and natural temperature, it jealously stores the oak barrels. The scent of the wood together with the wine will inebriate your senses and the souvenir photo is a must-do.
Following, the path between the tools of wine-making and the illustration by our winemaker of the native Apulian vines.
At the end of the visit, in the tasting room, we taste 3 wines: Primitivo, Negroamaro e Malvasia and the delicacies of our land, 0 km products such as local salami, homemade cheese, focaccia. typical sweet almond and mineral water.
