DESCRIPTION

Visiting wine cellars in Puglia means to discover the hospitality and beauty of our territory. Surrounded by the beauties of the Itria Valley, hectares of vineyards and green hills, the “Winery” you are going to visit is a family-run business since 1882. A facility built in local stones, unique of its kind.
The tour starts from the vineyard and continues with a visit to the historic cellar. A path among winemaking tools, barrels and barriques in the underground cisterns and illustration of the native Apulian vines.
At the end of the visit, tasting of 3 wines: Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia, served with tarallini, cold cuts and cheeses from the farm, typical almond sweet and water.
Following, departure for Putignano and guided tour of a city famous in the world for its “Carnival of Farinella”, which takes place every year. We get lost in the maze of its streets and stone houses, while reaching a surprising location for our dinner “Premiata Pizzeria Culinary Experience“. Here, a culinary experience awaits us. Thanks to a revolutionary and philosophical idea, the Chef has made Pizza a real “Gourmet Dish”, mixing tradition and innovation. Experimenting and mixing classic ingredients with other valuable ones, such as truffles, gold drops, turnips cream, yellow datterino (tomatoes), Taggiasca olives, crumbled baked onion, porcini mushrooms, pumpkin, tomato powder and much more depending on the season, you get a pizza that becomes a real work of art.
Passion and knowledge are the main ingredients that combined with selected grains, doughs leavened up to 48h with sourdough, sea water, 0 km products and the best cooking techniques, create a signature cuisine that acquires value and becomes unique, creating food excellence!
